cooberry park zoo

last weekend, instead of ringing home during the father's day/birthday party festivities, we went to cooberry park zoo. i got to hold a koala and feed kangaroos. i even got to see my favouritest animal, a wombat!! brett was adventurous enough to hold the snake, but i just took photos, thanks. at the end is a photo of mum's favourite - the cassowary. click on the photo to make it bigger. enjoy!

i have changed who can post comments to the blog. brett or jaime or members of the family or anyone who is not a blogger can post comments to the blog now. although you can post anonymously, it is preferrable that comments are posted using 'other' which allows you to enter your name so that we know who the comment came from. it asks for a webpage, but if you don't have one or want to fill that field in, don't. it won't ask you for any other information (like your email address or anything like that). so comment... comment lots... we'd love to hear from you!

My intentions

All I wanted to do was to post my pictures from vacation. Picasa has a button to Blogger and when I clicked it I was led to the sign up page. So the adventure started...

Is there an easy way or better site to post a bunch of pictures or better yet a "slide show" of pictures to share with others? Raymond uses some photo album repository in yahoo. I also want to let the viewers download the pictures if they wish.

it's a melanie. mum invited to me to post to this blog. i dunno what i'm going to post. i have my own blog. i dunno why my mum decided to have a blogger blog instead of a lj one so that tim & i can link her to our friends' pages easily... oh well. i'll just have to create a rss feed for this one, i guess...
