On the Lewis and Clark Trail - March 2008

We went to Long Beach and decided to follow the Lewis and Clark trail across to Oregon. Stayed at Astoria and drove to Fort Stevens and Fort Clatsop and all the way to Seaside where the we found the salt works Lewis and Clark set up on the beach to make the salt needed to preserve their food for the journey home.

The last 10 pictures were at Mt. Walker in the Olympic National Forest looking northeast towards Mt. Baker and southeast towards Seattle over the Puget Sound.
